Dear Idle folk everywhere,
Have you ever noticed how completely and utterly boring these Silicon Valley tech entrepreneurs are? I always love reading the Sunday Timescolumn “Life in a Day”, because the subjects are generally absurdly hard-working and dull, and this week David Goldberg, husband of the yawnsome Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook, who wrote the nauseating non-feminist corporate slave manualLean In, did not disappoint as far as mind-bending tedium goes:
“I’m not great about breakfast,” says the 45 year-old CEO of Surveymonkey. “I often just grab a protein bar and Diet Coke as I’m heading out the door.”
Surprise, surprise, he is a U2 fan, always a sign of a dullard: “I’ve been a fan since high school.” His favourite magazine is The Economist,a magazine whose staff believe that we should all work for large corporations, and book-wise, he is currently enjoying The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon.
THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO RUN OUR WORLD!
WE MUST DESTROY THEM BEFORE WE DIE OF BOREDOM!
